In late 2009, Linda and Earl were approached by Power Places Tours to serve as spiritual leaders for a ten day journey to the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. This mystical, sacred village, built by the Incans actually means Old Peak, and is at 8,000 feet, over looking the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Built around 1400 AD as the site of the Incan rulers, for centures Machu Picchu was hidden because of its altitude and the overgrown jungle surrounding it. The modern day discovery of Machu Picchu happened less than 100 years ago. Due to its clandestine location, this UNESCO Heritage site was not plundered by the Spanish, and is often labeled one of the Seven New Wonders of the World.
When you join our tour you'll be with a spiritual family of like-minded souls/people who wish to experience this area for primarily two reasons. The Incas and the Andean culture point to a very well organized way of life, dedicated to the service of others, rather than to one's own self interests. This is a focus on the Unity of all. Oneness is the pivotal energy needed in our current time of moving forward into the New Humanity.
Secondly, Machu Piccu is situated in the core of a unique double vortex. This sacred energy is of massive potency. It is primarily female, Goddess in nature. (Please remember that we are all male and female in one human body.) The vortex is electro magnetic, meaning it has aspects of being both a magnetic (or inward pull) vortex and electrical (outward push) vortex. The 'double vortex' is two concentric energy righs that act as templates for both the magnetic and eclectrical vortexes around Machu Picchu.
The power of journeying to this sacred location on our planet will advance both your own soul's journey, and the collective journey of all.
